Money Matters

Hon and I have been slowly listing down the things we would need for our wedding and for setting up a home after that. It's a long list and its very discouraging. So I finally just decided to forgo of my dream wedding non-essentials and opted for a simple one. Para lang mabili namin lahat ng kakailanganin for our pad. And before that, I have to think about the expenses for next month when I go see him (with nanay daw, lol).

Just now, I've made a list of my receivables for this month and although I've tripled my office salary, parang kulang pa rin. It's like, as your income increase your expenses increase as well. Pero sabi nga ni Hon, kahit ganun mga gastos namin ng December, it was worth it. At sabi ko naman, kausapin mo 500 mo na bill kng sagutin ka...

Long Vacation

sabi nga ng hon ko "kasi kasi". Because I did not hug him as much when he was here, I miss him so. Yes we had petty fights but over all, our vacation was the best we've had so far. He spent three weeks here yet it only seemed days. Kulang pa nga. It's the first time we spent that too much time together, na kahit ano gawin magkasama and I think it was good for both of us. More like a test run if we are going to make it on our own when we finally decide to setlle down. It also gave me an opportunity to see if he is capable of being the main bread winner and head of the family. Well, he is ready and he is very sweet and caring as always. Medyo kuripot pero nasa lugar naman...And the best thing is I can rely on him on almost anything, masasandalan ko siya.

From My Sister's Chopping Board

I support my sister in any way I can. So when she told me she was going to have a hands on food garnishing, I shared a few ideas of my own. You see, my sister and I share the same passion about food. Although she's more inclined to cooking and me to baking, there are recipes that we enjoy making, often adding our personal touch to it.

Saturday Morning filled with bliss

hmmm....Although my back hurts a bit from curling up on the sofa, my Saturday morning is filled with bliss. I've always loved the rainy season, not for its rain but for the chilly mornings. I get to enjoy a hot cup of aromatic coffee and other things I won't enjoy in the city.

Today, the aroma of coffee has filled my office (yes, I've already set up an office at the master's bedroom; still thinking of putting a bed in here) and I can hear birds chirping outside. It's still chilly....Oh, and I have instrumental music playing...
